Make Every Minute Count! #Cont…

Hi everyone, how has your day been? Mine has been quite a rainy day. As a matter of fact, I got drenched by the rain. I didn’t expect it to rain as heavily as it did but at the same time I’m grateful for it and am sure those that have farms, gardens, would be thankful for it as well.
Ok, so in the morning before I rushed off to school, I was speaking on how we should make every moment count. Well, I don’t mean to suggest that we should be doing something with every minute of every day. Taking time to reflect and just drink in the quiet and silence is also very valuable during those moments between scheduled events. Silence restores the soul and helps prepare us for the next thing we need to do. I value my quiet moment and so I try to create time to have my “alone moment” no matter how tight my schedule is.

We need to learn to discern our needs physically, mentally, emotionally, and of course spiritually and use our time accordingly. Sometimes reading is best and at other times sitting quietly and doing absolutely nothing is best, we just need to know which one is suitable at the moment. Just remember that once time goes by, we cannot ever get it back, so let’s use it wisely.
The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to grow old and look upon their lives and realize they never took the time to do what they thought they were supposed to do or what they wanted to do or better yet feel they have wasted their lives. I don’t want you either to look back tomorrow and be filled with regrets. What is it you want to do? What is that vision you have been waiting for all these years to feature in? What is that passion that leaves you breathless every time you think about it? It’s time to get it done. Look for that cloud of confirmation and walk through it. Don’t let the time slip away from you. You may never get it back again. No matter your age, it is never too late to start using your time wisely and bearing good fruit.

As believers, we do not mourn over the past, we simply let it go and move on. Joel 2:25 (KJV) “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” We serve a God who specializes in total recovery and restoration and a perfect example is seen when He sent his only begotten son to come restore us back to our rightful place. All we need to do is let him in and allow him to manage us and our time instead of us managing Him. Your latter years can be even more fruitful than your former years if you determine today not to waste another minute, but to take dominion over every unproductive thing in your life and be fruitful every day. #You can do this….

The Altar and The Door

Five,Four,Three,Two,One! My New Year's resolution will be to loose 100 pounds, stop smoking, stop drinking, get into shape, eat healthy. "Two weeks later," OH,I give up". In life its easy to say things or set high goals but as time passes things get difficult and giving in to temptations seems to be the only way out. A Christian life, like new year resolutions, feels simple. It is all black and white while at the altar where "we know how to live and what direction to take",but after church,"somewhere between the "Altar and the Door" everything turns gray again. At the Altar Jesus expects us to leave everything that weighs on our shoulders to Him and not to leave with any when we walk out of the door. At the Altar we are full of confidence, we know who we are, what we are supposed to do,which road in life to take and how we are supposed to live. But the frustration comes however when we leave the Altar and have to take the things we left there with...

Being You....

Joke For The Day

A drunkard woke up one morning deeply repentant after a bitter fight with his wife the previous night. He noticed with dismay the crate of beer bottles that had caused the fight. He took it outside and started smashing the empty bottles one by one onto the wall. He smashed the first bottle swearing, "you are the reason I fight with my wife". He smashed the second bottle, "you are the reason I don't love my children". He smashed the third bottle, "you are the reason I don't have a decent job". When he took the fourth bottle, he realized that the bottle was still sealed, full and cold. He hesitated for a moment and said "you stand aside, I know you were not involved. 😄😄😄😄😜😜😜😜😂😂😂
